studiokurbos is an owner-managed, independent design studio with offices in Stuttgart and Shanghai.
We are looking for highly experienced senior poly modelers to join our CAS team. These individuals will transform creative designs into high-precision, three-dimensional models, implement complex projects independently, and, if necessary, take on a coordinating or leadership role within the project.
The position is initially limited to 12 months, available immediately, and will be based entirely on-site at one of our long-standing customers in Munich.

YOUR MISSION

  • Independent creation of concept and poly models, taking into account design and technical specifications
  • Development and optimization of low- and high-poly models to the highest quality standards
  • Modeling of exterior, interior, and add-on parts
  • Assumption of coordinating and responsible roles within projects
  • Preparation of models for photorealistic visualizations
  • Close collaboration with designers, engineers, and other project participants to ensure the highest quality standards

YOUR PROFILE

  • Very good knowledge of Autodesk Maya, Autodesk Alias Subdivision, or Blender
  • Extensive experience working with complex 3D models and workflow optimization
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in poly modeling, ideally in automotive or high-end product design
  • Confident conversion of 2D sketches into high-quality, precise 3D models
  • Strong sense of design, surfaces, shapes, aesthetics, and details
  • Independent, structured way of working and strong team orientation
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
